The rains are forecasted for the entire weekend..the grass is growing at a rapid rate and GREEN…and I do love the color of green and I love Spring…I hope it lasts until June …and we have lots of flowers to gaze upon and lots of hikes to enjoy!  One of my favorites is the trek up Max Patch…this photo was from last fall, however, it can still be enjoyed and will be again. I do hope you are enjoying the outdoors and even though we did not have a winter… I will make the most of Spring! Ciao Mi Amicas!

Autumn in Western North Carolina. A time for reflection and gratitude. What a wonderful time to hike to photograph this season. Soon I will be displaying my photography at West One Salon in Asheville, North Carolina. In the mean time….there’s much to prepare for. Wishing all of my readers a wonderful weekend and joy in their hearts. Ciao! Anita

Max Patch - near Asheville, North Carolina

I have some new photos to share with you. Last week was a GOOD week at FALC. We had our first faculty/student luncheon…which was delicious and fun. I do hope to get this school up and operating at full capacity. It’s a great group of people….the Artists are wonderful and so are the students. To think this is the ONLY school in the USA that teaches the art of Fresco…amazing! And it’s located in the mountains of Western North Carolina.  Take a look at the photo I’ve uploaded from a recent weekend hike. Enjoy!

As some of you know, I was blessed to go to Europe last month and the end of May. While there I visited Brussels, Belgium and a very good friend of mine for several days, then off to Venice and Verona, Italy. My husband accompanied me on this lovely trip and we both like taking photos, visiting museums, cathedrals and street-side cafe’s. It was wonderful. Another one of my favorite places in Europe are there flower markets…they are gorgeous. So, I will insert a photo of some beautiful peach roses. I hope you like them. And as always, I welcome your comments.
